Last year he release his first feature film Miserable Man. A film about a young man named Jeremy. Jeremy has just graduated high school. In the wake of a family tragedy, he runs away from home, but not before his best friend, Lewis, decides to take Jeremy's experiences "on the road" and turn them into an underground comic book. A year later, Jeremy returns home, not knowing that he's become a minor celebrity thanks to Lewis' handiwork. Appearing at a comic book together for a weekend, will Jeremy finally tie up all the loose ends of the troubles he left behind? Miserable Man had its first screening at I-con Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention in March 2010. Looking back on Chad's view on filmmaking he makes a point that I can agree with. Chad stated " You don't need special effects, you don't need famous actors. You need your own honesty, diligence and a story that you want to share. It's more art than entertainment, which is the right direction for cinema." Now Miserable Man has more buzz about it than ever after a second screening at the Huntington Cinema Art center. Chad has also helped out on other films and now is in Pre-Production for his second film excitable boy, which stars co-screenwriter Tom Rizzuto. The story follows a young man who gets divorced, moves back in with his parents and digresses into an immature kid again. Chad also has another side project call " I Hate It Here" which is a live radio show on Sunday 11pm-11:30pm on Blogtalkradio.com. Where he brings on local artist and discuss the journey and what goes into making a piece of art as well as community leaders that will talk about a wide range of topics. I could truly that I am glad to have met Chad Kushins. You can view more about Chad Kushins at the links below and I have also Posted the trailer to Miserable Man. I you enjoy.

http://smithtown.patch.com/articles/local-film-director-chad-kushins-begins-production-on-his-next-film
http://www.miserablemanmovie.com/
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ihateithere/2011/03/21/i-hate-it-here
http://www.youtube.com/user/alsoknownaslions#p/u/4/suiCkZvTXEk

Artist: Steve Woisin

Steven "SteveTiki" Woisin is a Long Island Tattoo artist with a great range of talent. On day I was to my last fifth-teen dollars so I bought myself a corn dog and a drink. The next thing I know I found my listening to a man playing his guitar. Yesterday I had a long deep conversion with him. After I did it seemed like we knew each other forever. His style of music is composed of Folk, Acoustic, Shanty, and has a sense of wonder. If you listen to the stories that he is telling and the emotion in his voice you will find yourself in a world of adventure and have a better understand of yourself. I know this video is alright but what do you accept for a webcam. If you want to here his music you can go to the links I posted blew. Currently He is working on his new album "Earl Grey" and has released the "Whydah Ep" last month. Ryan's Last album "Seas, Cities and Dreams" was released on July 1, 2010. Some of the songs off this Album was recorded in the beach but it songs like a profession studio. There are ones that only care about wealth. Most want all three. I just want to open their eyes and show how ignorant and self centered they are. I want to show what damage can be caused with out physical abuse. Words and Lowering someones self-esteem can change and alter one's self-worth,self-regard,self-respect,and self-integrity causing a change in one's Self-concept.
You tell a child he is worthless and stupid over a long period of time. The child will thing that and grow up trying to find where he/she belongs in society usually leading to depression and sometimes worst. Read the paper and count how many time a teenager shows up in it for something negative. You can not blame the media. You could only blame those that push the ideas of negativity on the individual. It is not a phase but an epidemic. Over 60% of teenagers to young adults suffer from depression. 4 out of 5 have thoughts of suicide. 3 out of 5 attempt suicide. 2 out of 5 succeeds. 40% are the ages of 14-17, 47% are the ages of 18-27, 10% are the ages of 30-40, 2% ages 41-50, less than 1% for ages 51+. My research shows that the believe in these phrase such as "Your a failure", " You will never amount to anything", and " I'm disappointed in you" have the most pull in the thought process of an adolescence on top of school pressures, being bullied and harassed, as well as parents forcing the same ideas at home. If you know someone that is going threw this please help. You will know the warning signs and you will see the change in personality. Stand up and tell someone before it is to late. If you known someone who took their own life, I send my regards because I have witness it and did not say a word to help. Stop bulling is the first step. Educating parents is the next. Public awareness needs to be addressed. The Global community needs to take action. Our do we need to watch the youth fallow the path of self-destruction. I am a filmmaker trying to make a difference but I can not do it alone. Share your stories and End this epidemic.

Writer & Director of Behind Crying Eyes,
Steven-Mark Glassner Jr.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Behind-Crying-Eyes/152496878111029
